Ms. Dorothy Coombe – Chair

Director since 2013, Past State President of The Country Women’s Association of Victoria Inc. Former board member Australian Telemarketing Association. Former board member Australian Direct Marketing Association. Former owner and managing Director of Coombe Telephone Marketing Pty Ltd.

Special Responsibilities
Ms Coombe is a member of the Nominations and Governance and the Audit and Risk Committee.

Ms. Lahra Carey – Director

Qualifications
MA Criminology, Graduate Diploma e-Commerce, Graduate of News Ltd Advertising AWARD School, Member PRIA, Member of the RMIT Public Relations Advisory Board, Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, Member of the Melbourne Press Club.

Experience
Director since 2010, Former journalist with ABC radio and television news, Founding Partner Haystac Public Affairs, Principal Lahra Carey Media & Communications, Partner, NewsFlash Media.

Ms. Carey is a member of the Nominations and Governance Committee.

Mr. Stuart Costa – Director

Experience
Alternate Director since 2007, appointed director December 2011, Senior Executive with the Costa Group of companies.

Mr Costa is a member of the Audit and Risk Committee.

Mr. David Harris – Director

Qualifications
Bachelor of Economics and Politics, Certified Practicing Accountant.

Experience
Director since 2005, over 10 years experience with the company and its antecedents, President of FareShare/Joint Managing Director of TIC Group.

Special Responsibilities
Mr. Harris is a member of the Audit and Risk Committee.

Dr. Meg Montague – Director

Qualifications
BA Hons Anthropology and an African Language (School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London), PhD (University of Queensland), Graduate Diploma of Public Policy (University of Melbourne), Advanced Diploma of Group Facilitation (Groupwork Institute of Australia) GAICD ILPM

Experience
Appointed director December 2011. 25 years’ experience running a social policy, research and evaluation consultancy working with government and non-government agencies in public health, community services, education and training. Particular interest in social justice and the causes of and solutions to poverty, homelessness and food insecurity. Former Director and now Life Member of Hanover Welfare Services.

Special responsibilities
Dr Montague is a member of the Nominations and Governance Committee and the School Breakfast Program Monitoring and Evaluation Advisory Committee

Ms. June Wilson – Director

Qualifications
B.A. (Hons) E, Manchester University, ICAA, GAICD

Experience
Appointed Director 2012, former partner Ernst & Young, 30 years experience in the finance industry.

Special Responsibilities
Ms. Wilson is a member of the Audit and Risk Committee, and the Nominations and Governance Committee.

Mr. Ben Pratt – Director

Qualifications
LLB, Bachelor of Arts (Policy Studies), Graduate Diploma Applied Corporate Governance. Associate of the Governance Institute of Australia.

Experience
Appointed Director March 2015. Global Corporate Communications Manager at BHP Billiton, Associate of Chartered Secretaries Australia, Associate of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries & Administrators.

Ms. Niamh O’Malley – Director

Qualifications
Graduate Certificate of Human Resources Management, Bachelor of Arts – Honours

Experience
Director since 2014, General Manager, Social Enterprises – Brotherhood of St Laurence. Over 15 years experience in HR, change management and general business. Previous owner and operator of international events cleaning and waste management company.

Special Responsibilities
Ms. O’Malley is a member of the Nominations and Governance Committee.

Ms. Machelle Crichton – Director

Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree, Training and Education, Registered Nurse

Experience
Director since 2015. Current State President, Country Women’s Association of Victoria, Previous Deputy State President The Country Women’s Association of Victoria Inc. Previous Chair ACWW/International & Community Support Committee The Country Women’s Association of Victoria Inc.

Mr Tass Mousaferiadis – Director

Qualifications
Bachelor of Education, University of Melbourne, 1982. Graduate Diploma of Health Education, University of Melbourne, 1985. Graduate Certificate in Business Management, Victoria University, 1995.

Experience
Tass brings a wealth of experience, based on more than 25 years working as a policy strategist in the government, health and community sectors. Tass currently consults to health and community agencies on policy, strategy, and governance. More recently, he worked at beyondblue where he led the Men’s Health Program. He has worked across a range of management and policy areas in government, advised Victorian Government ministers and served on a number of community and metropolitan health service boards. Tass is a non executive director on the Board of Eastern Health Service, chair of the Board of the Parenting Research Centre and Vice President of Inner South Community Health.

Tass is a member of the Nominations and Governance Committee.

Mr Justin Madden – Director

Experience
Justin is a senior infrastructure consultant at Arup and works closely with Arup’s Leadership team in the areas of strategic project planning and infrastructure development across Australasia, and the South East Asian region.

Justin’s career includes 15 years in the Victorian State Parliament, having held seven Ministerial portfolios within successive Victorian Labor Governments across 11 years including Minister for Youth Affairs and Minister Assisting the Minister for Planning, Minister for Sport and Recreation, Minister for Commonwealth Games, and Minister for Planning.

Prior to his parliamentary career, Justin held the role of President of the AFL Players Association during an AFL career totaling 332 AFL Games with Carlton and Essendon Football Clubs. Justin is a life member of the AFL, Carlton Football Club and The AFL Player’s Association.

Justin is also a registered Architect having run his own practice, and a qualified teacher.
