Dave McNamara, Chief Executive Officer
As a socially minded former chef, Dave’s experience in some of Melbourne’s best known restaurants cemented his belief that food has the power to transform and engage. Dave leads Foodbank Victoria with passion to mobilise support from across the Victorian community and most importantly, to put healthy food on the tables of Victorians families and individuals experiencing crisis. Dave is a member of the Committee of Management for Emergency Relief Victoria, a member of the Steering committee for the Victorian Health Citizens Jury on Obesity and a member of the Victorian Healthy Eating Enterprise collaboration group.
Narelle Kingston, Chief Financial Officer
Narelle is a CPA qualified accountant with over 15 years’ experience. Her work history includes finance and consumer research roles with international shopping centre companies in Australia and the UK. She also spent four years as a consumer research adviser. Narelle generously donated her time as a Foodbank volunteer prior to being approached by the CEO for a full time position!
Chris Scott, Operations Manager
Chris brings extensive experience to Foodbank Victoria from more than two decades in Hospitality, Freight Management and Community Development. Chris’ career spans Operational, Business Development and CEO roles. Passionate about food rescue, Chris has a very keen interest in the positive environmental and social impacts the sector has on the community.
Simon Rose, Community Development Manager
With a 12-year career in IT, Simon has headed up major projects for EDS and Telstra covering infrastructure, software development and change management. His experience has spanned both public and private sectors within Australia and the UK. Simon generously donated his time as a Foodbank volunteer prior to him being swiftly transferred in to a full time role and the management team.
Rachel Jamieson, People & Culture Manager
Rachel brings to Foodbank Victoria extensive experience in human resources and administration. Her work history includes HR Manager Roles at both mechanical engineering and metals manufacturing companies. She commenced her career in administration and held research roles for an industry group and a Victorian Government industry training board. She holds a Bachelor of Arts with Hons (Social Science) majoring in Politics
