What happens when you invite business leaders, policy makers, educators and Foodbank to the table, and ask them to change the world?
Take your Place at the Table to find out.
We are inviting you to Take Your Place to Fight Hunger in Victoria.
Place at the Table is more than just a dinner or lunch, it’s a chance to ignite change. Together, we want people to come to the table to raise awareness and funds so that we can increase our response to the ever growing need for our services.
This year alone 1 in 10 Victorians don’t know where their next meal is coming from, despite our country having the means to provide nutritious and affordable food for all. Many of us wouldn’t think of Australia as a country where people don’t have enough to eat, but it is. It could happen to you, because the problem is changing and the people affected are your neighbours, friends and colleagues.
We all have a role to play, pledge to take your place at the table today.
There are two ways you can get involved. Come to one of our Place at the Table events or you could hold your own.
Start the conversation with your networks and create your own Place at the Table event. A chance to come together with family and friends, share a meal and raise awareness on the issue of food insecurity within Australia.
Will you join us and take your Place at the Table?

We need 80 leaders in our community to take their Place at the Table. Foodbank Victoria would like to thank, Specialised Events, Stuart Costa and Mary Keely for their support of this movement.
