3. Where does my donation end up?

  • Once it reaches the warehouse it is sorted and redistributed through to our 480 strong network of community organisations who then deliver it to where it is needed most.
  • It could end up being turned in to full meals, be put in to food hampers, it could even be used as a collaborative supply ingredient (ie: would help create a staple food product, eg: flour in to bread, wheat in to pasta etc...)

3. How do I donate cash?

  • By donating to Foodbank Victoria today you can help one of Victoria's most highly regarded and non-aligned charitable organisations to continue its critical work in communities throughout Victoria.

4. Are donations tax deductible?

  • Yes, donations over $2 are tax deductible.

4. How is my cash donation spent?

  • While we work hard to get much of our food and aid donated to us, some high demand products still need to be bought.
  • Your donation could be used to purchase these items, such as blankets, mattresses, kitchen essentials and other material aids, or food particularly useful to those who are homeless (ring-lid canned meals and baked beans) or for families in need of staple items such as rice, pasta and fresh produce.
  • Your donation will be used to help us continue our critical work throughout rural and metropolitan Victoria.
