It’s estimated that in the next 12 months 400,000 people will run out of food and will not be able to afford to buy more in Victoria
Foodbank Victoria accepts food donations (which are fit for consumption) from growers, manufacturers, and local businesses You can donate excess stock, products near the end of their shelf-life,
or you can dedicate a proportion of your output to Foodbank Victoria.
Our Donors
Each year Foodbank Victoria rescues and redistributes hundreds of thousands of kilograms of food, the majority of which would have ended up in landfill. Through partnerships with generous donors
we are able to source a mixture of A grade, end-of-line, mislabelled and overrun stock still suitable for consumption.
Foodbank Victoria receives food and grocery donations from over 250 companies based in both Victoria and around Australia, ranging from multi-national corporations to small local manufactures and
producers. Without the generousity of these companies, Foodbank Victoria would not be able to provide to those in the community that require food assistance.
